Privacy
Mitosy is pre-launch. A full privacy policy is being prepared ahead of the first clinic going live. This page states what already holds today.
Whose data this is
Patient and clinic records belong to the clinic that entered them. Mitosy stores and processes that data to run the service the clinic subscribes to, and for no other purpose.
Separation between clinics
Each clinic's records are isolated at the database. A clinic can only ever read its own patients, appointments and billing.
Who can see records
Clinic staff, according to their role. Mitosy staff access a clinic's data only when the clinic asks for support, or as strictly needed to keep the service running.
The public demo
The demo clinic is invented data held separately. It never touches a real patient record.
Backups
Records are copied to secure storage continuously so a hardware fault does not lose a patient file.
Messaging
Appointment messages are sent over WhatsApp (SMS as a fallback) through the clinic's own registered business number. Message content is limited to what the reminder needs.
We do not sell data
Clinic and patient data is never sold or shared for advertising.
